What's your favorite color?

I am switching jobs in a few months, then planning to order my little dream car. I am torn between the dignified look of a dark silver MCS with a silver roof, and the fun colors red or blue, or the outrageous metallic orange if I can budget for a convertible.

What color is your car, what inspired your color selection, and what color do you think is the most eye-catching?

Cabrio - Hot Orange
Regular - Hyper Blue

My car color: Indi Blue/Black (which is very close to Hyper Blue)
Insipered my selection: Well, I bought used...but I knew I wanted this color or Hyper Blue. Not being able to buy an 05'+ MCS, I had to go with Indi Blue. I am very happy with the color, and I love blue. None of the other colors souts to me like Indi Blue/Hyper Blue
Most Eye-Catching: Probably Hyper Blue or the Hot Orange Cabrio.

Happy motoring!

Hyper Blue with black roof and stripes was my favorite, so that's what I ordered. But, Dark Silver with black roof and stripes was a very close #2. Luckily, I had examples of both to look at when I placed my order. And a very, very close #3 was Pepper White with, again, black top and stripes. I never thought I'd like a white car until I saw one on the road and was smittened by it.

There's no question on the Cabrio - Orange all the way.

Now, if they brought back a yellow color, my listing might have to be shuffled around a bit...

Hyper Blue/ Black roof = my Mostest favoritest combo! was gonna get this combo, but found a reallllllllly good deal with a 2nd hand BLK/BLK~

Or

Black/Black = the mostest coolest combo, put on some chrome mirror caps and it will be gorgeous! That's what I have, and that's what I am getting soon!

Green is my favorite color so when it came to buying my MINI only BRG would do.

Space Blue/ Silver roof = is my favorite. It used to be hyper blue/ white roof until I saw the space blue. So that's what i ordered. Haven't gotten to see it yet though, cuz it's not due for about another month.

Dark Silver Convertible with Black Roof - I always wear black and gravitate to dark cars, didn't go with all black because with the roof up, there was not enough contrast.

Got to admit the yellows, reds and blue seem more "Minish" and fun though. I love my choice and have no regrets. It fits me

I'm still in the waiting phase but I was having a hard time deciding between CR/B/B and HB/B/B and finally decided to go for the HB/B/B since I was seeing more CR's than HB's. Might as well be more unique!

CR/W or PW/B are my favorites. BRG/W and BRG/B are nice too. The MINI looks good in most any color but I think it looks the most classic in those colors.

For a convertable, a BRG with a BRG top is stunning

For a hardtop, there is only ONE color ... CR. ALL the other colors are just mistakes

I was into classic Minis and so, when I finally broadened my horizons enough to go w/ a new MINI, my mind was really into the classic Mini look. I live in a fairly typical neighborhood and so was leery of a color choice that screamed for inordinate amounts of attention...something more dignified, subtle, and understated was called for. That's why I went w/ Indi blue....and w/ a white roof for that proper, traditional Mini look. As the owner, it suits me very well and has stood the test of time....it's still the best fit for me three years later. That said, I really enjoy seeing all the MINI colors...picking a single favorite is hard to do.

Purple Haze with silver roof (no sunroof) is the best looking combo I have seen.

I get to wash one like this from time to time.

DS carries a certain amount of sophisitication with it.... something im very happy about.. . that said, it can blend in a bit too well against a sea of silver normal cars...

Black is good looking.. provided you can keep it clean

I personally like Chili Red, Pepper White, and Astro Black.... Blues are great too...

convertible.. go with a wild color... like Orange or Cool Blue

Umm, I forgot about Jet Black.

Jet Black/Jet Black has got to be one of the best. I've always wanted a completly blacked out MINI. No chrome, everything black. Then make it one hell of a sleeper.

Astro Black definetly. It's different from any other car on the road with it's silver-blue tinge, and because it's black its just a fast looking chick magnet. Pepper white comes in second.
for a fun looking car def convertible with orange and sunset seats

They are all wonderful.

Today I saw a liquid yellow with white top--awesome.
Then I saw a PW with W top. So classy.
I love the blues. All of them.
The chili red is so fun. Especially with racing stripes.

It is so hard to choose.

I just ordered an MCS convertible. I wanted cool blue but didn't want to pay the premium. But red is so cool for a convertible so I ordered the red. Oh, but --wait--I saw a pepper white that was just so incredible, so I changed to pepper white. Then back to red. Finally back to white. Then, too late to change!

It's all good! My Pepper White convertible is scheduled to be finished on June 5th. Can't wait!!!

Thank you everyone for the great inputs! I spent an hour looking at Mini colors in a BMW lot today. Making progress-- I've got it narrowed down to dark/pure silver, royal blue, royal gray, racing green, and maybe the black.

I went from wanting red, to buying electric blue, to wanting grey, and just bought a CR/CR. It's a fun sporty car, it should be a fun sporty color. Currently CR/CR with chrome but soon to be CR/CR with all black trim, rims, etc, and maby a black offset stripe! I love the red and always have!

PW/B is a great combo and thats what I chose for the fact that it does look as sharp as all the other color combo's but you dont see many PW's around...at least not around Portland!
