Wanting a mini

Hi, I have been looking at cars for the last month due to me being in an accident and my car being a write off. I love the mini's. Just here in Canada they are going for outrageous prices. I have found a 2004 with 31000km going for 25900 dollars canadian. It's in mint condition,, leather interior.. and so forth. I was just wondering if anyone thought this was a bit steep of a price since a 2006 starts just under 30 000 dollars. Also how do they handle in the winter and are they a good hwy car? Thanks

Welcome! Deffinitly order new if you can...it's your best bet. If you cannot afford a brand new one just keep looking around until you find a good deal on a used one. If people want to sell the car, they will lower the price.

Bottom Line - Order new and get exactly what YOU want. Only downside is the wait....but o well.

Hello!

I also started looking at used MINI's but they were $25-27k...I ended
up ordering brand new and the final price was right around $27k! Plus,
I was able to pick exactly what I wanted, I didn't have to settle!

Currently, my MINI is crossing the north atlantic and I can't wait! NAM has
made the waiting period less painful.

Since I live in Michigan, I also had questions about MINI's and the snow...
NAM provided awesome feedback and I found out that the MINI handles
great in the snow!

Good luck in your decision! Either way, you'll LOVE your MINI!

Do not assume advertised price for used MINI what you must pay....

Recently, I have followed several used MINIs for sale in my area and the cars were on the market for a while. In one particular case -- used MINI on BMW used car lot -- the dealer dropped price by several thousand dollars over the span of several months before car ad no longer appeared and I assume car then sold for the new lower price.

Used MINI prices are indeed softening.

Sincerely,

RockC.
