Well, I just signed up to keep in touch w/the Mini Community! I bought my Mini S last May and for 95% of the time I have loved it! BUT there is the fact that after 11,000mi I had to have a new transmission installed!! Let's be real....they said a new transmission but more then likey a rebuilt. My brother in law said he had heard that Mini was having a problem w/transmissions but I never did till I needed one. Service manager said it is rare. What's the verdict on that? Tried to put in a pic of my British racing green Mini S but haven't been able to. Hope to hear from some of u on the trany problem.
