Looking for new tires

Hi everyone,

I am looking to replace my original tires 195/55/R16 now that I got around 26k on them. I want to switch to Non-runflat tires.

I drive mostly on city street and freeways with the occasional motoring on country roads (gotta have fun)

I live in California, so I dont' see snow here. I assume summer tires will be the way to go.

Also, if I switch to non-run flat tires, do I have to do anything special to the wheel or do the tires just get installed on them.

If you post this in the tire forum I think you'll get more traction. Good luck!!

Nothing special needs to be done, just ask the installer if they can handle run-flat removal. It's more difficult than regulars. You'll find lots of opinions on tires if you go through the Tire forum. I'm happy with my Nokian Zs that I got a couple weeks ago.

Also, you won't find much if you ask for the original size. There is much more to pick from in 205/50/16 and they work just fine.
