hey guys

The wifey has decided she wants a '06 Mini Cooper S Convertable.

She made an appointment to test drive one tomorrow afternoon.


SO - Since I have about 24 hours to prepare before getting corned holed and driving one home Tuesday afternoon, what should I be on the lookout for?


I need to know if there are any areas of concern regarding the Mini's ect.

Things I should be on the look out for - options not to waste cash on?

Search on autotrader and see what MINI's are going for around your area. And is it a MINI dealer? If not, I believe MINITOR told the dealer that the MINI was stripped, but it was really loaded...so that took off some money.

Also, I've heard to check the bolts on the engine, if there lose, it's been modded? (can someone confirm this?) But you shouldn't have that problem seeing as it's an 06', and is it brand new or used?

i believe the one we will be test driving is a used '06 - oddly enough there are quite a few used '06's around the valley at non Mini stealerships.

whats up with brand new Mini's traded at other stealerships?
