Hello All - Finally Getting a Mini (production week unsure)

Hi everyone - I'm finally getting a Mini Cooper S!!!!
Here are the specs:

Chili Red w/ white
LSD
Gray Leatherette
Anthracite dash
MFSW

& that's it (trying to keep it simple & affordable & light). I called Flow Mini today in Winston-Salem & they told me it was "in production" & gave me the prod # (I ordered it Monday 4/10/06). When I checked in the Mini Lounge it said 'scheduled for production'. I then tried calling 1-866 ask mini but all I get is one ring & then nothing & it eventually hangs up. Am I doing something wrong with the ask mini #? I'm trying to figure out what production week I'm in so that I can wait with baited breath along with my mini's other future owners.

Yay! welcome to NAM. ASK MINI seems to be broken (I still have it on speed dial) but that usually has more up to date info than MINI OL

Welcome CooperSKart!

When calling Ask MINI it should just begin talking after one ring, you dont need to do anything special. I called earlier today and got through fine. Definately scheduled for week 18. Still says no confirmed production date, but the person i talked to confirmed what my MA said.

Thanks AndyWSea, I finally got ask-mini. The automated response said I had a completion date of April 26th! Happily, this is happening quicker than I originally expected. MCS4FUN - I'm fearing you are right, I am trying to avoid the siren call of excessive modding but I don't know how long I'll be able to resist (maybe just a few small things!).

Great! Don't go too crazy waiting and wondering where in production your new MINI might be. Before you know it your dealer will be calling you to say it's ready for pick up. You'll have a blast!
