MINI Cooper Welcome Kit

I was just wondering how long after you take delivery of your MINI before they send you the MINI Cooper new owners Welcome Kit? Unless I missed the memo that they don't do this any longer, I have yet to receive mine.

A coupe of months. I just called MINIusa and told them I didn't get one. They sent one out.

Yeah, but in Canada you have beer, great hockey, curling, moose and great fishing. Why do you need a welcome kit?! HA!

(Just kidding.)

if you're ordering new, like i recently did, don't forget to tell them that you're a member of NAM - my dealership is giving me a free set of winter mats, the extra cup holder, and the glovebox organizer (of which the mats are what i'm looking forward to)

I told them who I was on NAM and I didn't get any extras.

Starting in 2005 all MINIS got the big gulp cup holder on the down tube next to the radio.

This is the reply I got from the MINI Customer Svcs Relations
"Welcome kits go out to our new MINI owners within about 2-3 months of purchase of the MINI." Basically, 2-3 months from the date you took delivery. I'm still waiting, got FUNMNI on 3/14/06...I'll keep you posted when I get it and if the contents have changed.

But no welcome kit. Have you ever tried fishing for moose?

No, but I hear they really do a number on a MINI if one gets in the way.

Welcome kits arrive

Well, not only did I finally get my welcome kit, but I got TWO of them! Both came the same day via USPS. I thought one was for the PW/B MC that is on its way here on the Freedom, but they were both for my CR/W MCS. I picked up my car on March 4, so that was about 7-8 weeks for delivery of the kit. Now we can play car bingo!

One month to the day for my 05 MCS and my 06 MC! Exactly the same package and with the cute little stickers. I read somewhere else that MINI no longer sent these stickers out with the packages, but just got our welcome package last week and they were in there!
