I'm sure all of us on the left coast are frustrated that we don't have access to ship tracking as the east coasters do with their super accessible WW site. But I was endlessly impatient and went to search for stats regarding the NYK Line Fleet. I found this .pdf with some info regarding car capacity as well as how many ships sale to the west coast ports each month. There is also contact information, telephone #s for NYK directly (regional offices) as I've heard you can call them and they may assist with tracking!

Sure doesn't seem like they have 4 -5 sailings from Europe to North America! More like 1 or 2.
