Discontinued Colors - Any truth to the rumors?

Found out from my sales guy today, I mean my MA, that if the car is scheduled to be built anytime in April that LY would still be available. But if the car is scheduled to be built in May (like mine) it won't be.

They have a copy of the memo from MiniUSA up on the wall. April 30th is the last production day for the colors to be dropped.

Wow, Solar red didnt last long...is this the new "shortest-lived" color?

I saw one at a MINI dealer last week, it was....interesting.

I dunno why they dropped LY. I love it with the black roof.

The most missed color of all though, imo, is electric blue. That will forever remain my favorite MINI color.
