This relates to my Texas dealer thread. Albuquerque is a purchase option for me as well. Any comments on the MINI dealer there? I know delivery takes a little longer the further west you go but the idea of my maiden MINI voyage being a cross country trek sounds like fun.

Bought mine off the lot there. Sales experience (Michael) was wonderful (I paid cash, so no dealings with F&I). Service Dept. is less than stellar, IMO.

 

I had good experience with the dealer, this despite the fact that my first car (ordered in October 05) was totalled in the port in California and I had to go through the whole order and waiting process twice. They (and MINI) expedited the second car and everything went smoothly. One thing to think about, though, is that Albuquerque gets its cars from California which is more like a 28 day shipping time vs. the 19 or so to the east coast. If time isn't an issue I think they'd be a good option.

 

Kenny, Michael, John and the entire staff including the service department are great. Bought two 2005's from them last year. No complaints and would do it again.
