Another new west coaster here, Bay Area to be precise.

Ordered the MCS for my wife on 1/25/06 and I'll be damned if I haven't taken a much greater interest in it than I anticipated. I am down in Southern California for work almost every other week and due to the horrible dealer markup in the bay area I decided to purchase down here. I was dissapointed in the delivery times from both Long Beach Mini and South Bay Mini and after a little research (I called every dealership in the state) decided on Mini of Universal City as they offered the best compromise of delivery time vs. markup.

The car's name is Col. Brandon as my wife likes Jane Austin (don't ask) and is on it's way right now aboard the Phoenix Leader, should be arriving 3/11/06. I will have to wait to pick it up as my wife and I will be on vacation in Hawaii untill the 22nd, yeah it's a rough life. We plan on spending a few days in LA after picking it up visiting family and going to Disneyland; might as well make a trip of it.
