Well I got my order number today and I went and logged on just because I can't wait. Well I was surprised to see that the number went to a different car. I called the MA and he said that they used this number that was already in the system and it will change in a few days.

Has anyone ever seen this?

 

It's very common. They are just switching the specs on a car they already
had on-order to the specs you want. The other option is to place a new
order which will delay your car a couple of months.

 

Mine was the same way. Give it a few days and it will look like your Mini.

 

Same here, our Purple Haze Cooper showed up as Pure Silver for quite some time.

This occurs because each dealer is pre-allocated a set amount of cars per production month. When a customer places an order with the dealer, the dealer replaces these pre-allocated slots with the actual customer ordered car.

 

Just checked today it now shows my car!!
