New dude DC area
Hi All, I've been on ths forum for a while, just never posted an intro...I am john and live in the DC area. I have an 03 MCS (purchased in Feb 03), Chili Red, Black Leatherette, Sport, cold wx, Xenon,6 spd. I lived in Colorado Springs up until a year ago. While there, i was fortunate enough to have Randy Webb install my Magnaflow, 15% Alta Reduction Pulley, Alta Intake, and Alta Swaybar. Now, I am awaiting MTH CAR Tuner file and contemplating which crank pulley to get...Alta 2, 3, or 4%.
I've owned 10 BMWs in the past including a 2002 e46 M3. I have to say at 1/2 the price, my MCS is just as fun, if not more, to drive.
My wife and I tracked the MCS at a BMW driving school in Denver and had a blast. We are looking forward to doing it again sometime.
Take care
John

Welcome to DC and NAM. Are you in MD, VA or the District?
You may want to check out the DCMM thread in the East Coast region. There is a breakfast coming up at MINI of Sterling Jan 21st in case you want to meet some of your fellow local MINI owners.

Some nice roads up there if you can get out of the Megalopolalous. Still have to watch out for copious People's republic of MD Cops and the infamous VA State Patrol. Take a weekend trip and come to the mountains in NC, KY, and TN. You'll have a great time....Try the Dragon...it's unreal
Cheers
