New members: make an initial post and introduce yourself as you shift from Neutral to First Gear. Current members: meet some of the new members

I read the above and had to chuckle. The reason I found this site is because I wanted to ask if anyone was having problems with their mini shifting from Neutral to First.

My MC with less than 6500 miles on it will not go into first gear.

I'll let you know what happens as it is at the dealership now but any idea what might have caused this. I don't think my wife is racing it on the side but even if she was I would not expect to be locked out of one gear.
