My production was supposedly complete on 12/18. It sat for a week and then this morning, it was released to the carrier for shipping! My wife called later this afternoon, and it had reverted back to being in the production phase. I called and spoke to a CSR who said it was back in the plant and would not be ready for 6-8 weeks. Does this seem normal or is it some kind of glitch? Just very STRANGE...

 

Sounds like the car will be sitting out the January plant shut-down / expansion. Bad luck but if it was a gremlin that is best fixed at the plant, then it is probably worth the extra wait.
