Is Suspension in 2006 differente from 2005's and older?

I just got my 2006 Mini cooper S with Checkmate last week.Everytime my wife drives it I follow her to see how the car looks like on the road and I noticed the rear wheels on the 2006 are leaning inwards,in other words like the BMW's and Mercedes of the 80's and 90's that when they accelarate or are loaded with paasengers in the back seats the wheels lean inward.I am not saying that this is a bad thing but I never noticed it on my 2002 cooper S,It is part of having an indipendent rear suspention.Anybody else noticed that?is the suspension differente?I also noticed the 2006 is more in to following the grooves on the road than the older one,or maybe is becuase is just new and needs to brake in.
