866-mini says my new MCSC was "on the boat" on 8/8/05. They have no other information about the status (like which boat, what port it's going to, etc). It showed up as in transit on-line on 8/10/05. I assume mini's info is better. It sounds like it's about 10 days from boat to distribution center. How long from distribution center to dealer? Is anyone else on the same boat?

 

My MINI was unloaded on July 21st and arrived at the dealership on the 25th. I'm guessing mine was unusually fast b/c both the port and dealer were in NJ.

 

Sounds like you are on the CARMEN like me! My PW/PW Cooper is on its way across the Atlantic woooohoooo!

Scheduled arival date is the 22nd. I think MINI2 has a link to the shipping company, you can type in your vin and get the status.

The Carmen didn't leave until this morning at 1800 GMT (1200 CT). I heard a K-Line boat left on the 8th...

Both arrive in Charleston on the 22nd. They'll arrive in New York a few days earlier though. Check with your MA to find out what port they're going through.

 

According to the W&W site, I'm on the Aida, not the Carman. It says that my car was loaded on the vessel and the ship departed on 8/5! Strange that it took them 4 days to put the information on the mini-usa website, and that 866-askmini had the wrong information (they said it departed 8/8). According to the W&W site, the ship arives in NY on 8/13 (3 days). I may actually get the car in August. Wouldn't that be grand.
