Took the Plunge

Hey Everyone:

I finally "took the plunge" and placed my order for a MCC (Cool Blue, Blue Top, Convenience, Sport, Premium pkgs, Navigation, Xenons, Chrome Line
Interior and Exterior. The "owners lounge" at the MINIUSA website shows the status of the car "on order" (I just placed the order last Fri, 6/17). I'm anxiously waiting for the status to change to "in production". I hope it won't take too long. The dealer said the car should take approximately 8 weeks to arrive - does that sound about right? I'm looking forward to many miles of fun with this car!!

BTW...I think this is a great forum with alot of useful info.

It can happen. My dealer told me 7 weeks and the car arrived in 6. Aren't modern supply chains amazing? Welcome aboard. I hope your wait is shorter rather than longer.

I don't know the exact time frame for west coast folks but its longer then east coasters. Simply due to the trucking of the car cross-country. I had my car arrive in my hands one month from order date. I think everything clicked very well for my order and Oxford cranked my car out quick

So if your car is in the US in a month, anybody know travel time to the west coast?
