Rear fogs are a good way to get someone of your a$$. I don't have them on my MINI but my winter beater (old Saab).

'05 rear 'fogs' don't do anything for it - it's simply a red light at the bottom of the bumper. They don't even see it when they are that close!

I put it on when still driving, they see it and keep back most of the time.
