Downsizing to a MINI

Hello everybody, I'm a total newbie here! I had a 2000 Chevy Silverado (CarDomain ID: DosMilChevSil), sold it on Mother's Day, ordered a pepper white MCS automatic on May 14th, and as of today it's in the water headed for the U.S. I'm nearly 6'7, so I've got a lot of people giving me funny looks when they hear what I'm replacing the truck with, but it's fun. Look forward to getting to know you all!

Hey I did the same thing! Downsized from two large vehicals. I don't miss them one bit... especially when I pull up to the gas pump!

We know your going to enjoy it! Your never too "young" to have some new fun!

Downsize? Way to go.

I went from a Dodge Caravan (only me commuting)
to an MCS.

Parking is a breeze.
See a parking spot that looks "too small"?
No problem- perfect fit!

Well, almost.

I'm 6'3" and fit with plenty of room to spare and, just for fun, had a friend 6'7", 285# try it on for size: no problem.

I'm going from a big Ford F150 to the mini. Mini should be here in August.

I also went from an F-150 (4-door size) down to a Mini . . . I was a truck up until April, but I wouldn't give up my Mini for anything now!

I too downsized and upgraded. Now my brother drives my '93 Plymouth Grand Voyager...

You'll love the mpg. I used to do 15 city, 19 highway and have to fill the 18 gallon tank regularly. Now, with 33 overall and 35-37 on the highway, even with the smaller tank and premium, I fill up half as much and go a lot further in between fill ups for less. Although that's a MC...

Enjoy and congrats!

Motor On!
