New Mini - new NAM member

Hi Folks,

Great forum! Lot's of very good Mini info here. Glad to have found this board!

Bought an new 05 MCS at Mini of Peabody 1700 miles ago. Bought it off the lot. Talk about luck. It was the right color and had the exact options & packages I would have ordered.

Absolutely love the car. It's by far the best driving and most fun car I've owned.

Here are the specs: Chili Red/white, Chrome mirror caps, Cold weather pkg, Anthracite trim(standard headliner), Sport Pkg, Premium pkg, Chrome line exterior. I had the Mini Fini tow bar and front 3m Stoneguard added at the dealer.
I added the Mini rubber floor mats and the trailer lights isolator mentioned in another thread.

Soon to be added: Ian's Mini circuit for auto up windows

Soon to be repaired :-( it has the infamous cruise control problem mentioned in other threads.

rockymt98,

Aloha and welcome to NAM.
Great to hear from you.
That's pretty lucky to find something in stock that is as close a fit to your choice for an MCS. Hard to argue with that kind of luck.

Sounds like you are off to a good start.
