So far I haven't heard of anyone who hasn't loved their MCSc

You'll be open-motoring before you know it.

Mini Cooper S Update

Sorry I should have given the details ---- oops

Hot Orange with Black Top, Orange Dash, Chrono Package, Factory Armset (Ordered and hopefully included), Black bonnet stripes, HK Stereo, 16" All Season V-Spoke, 6-Speed, Leather Cruise M/F Wheel.

Looking to add XM to the HK. Will probably buy the Blitz adapter and XM1000 to enable me to use wheel controls.

Due to be manufactured week 11 which should be next week. My status is still "On-Order" but hopefully it will change soon.

Any other convertible owners out there with the XM choice?? I would love to hear how you did it and where you placed the antenna.

Covertibles are so much fun!!! We had one day that it reached 70... what an amazing day! Even with days in the 50's the sunroof function is great. I really adds a whole nother way to enjoy those almost perfect days.

Congrats!!!

You'll love the convertible. Haven't had any real warm days in Chicagoland, but that hasn't stopped me from having the top down 47 degrees yesterday and it felt great! Of course the heat was up and the bun warmers were on!! Hope you can wait!!

Actually . . .

I didn't like the 04 MCS too much (I am one of those snotty Bimmer dweebs who complained of the too-tall first gear and the sluggish off-the-line performance). I wanted to try on 05 MCS. East Bay MINI didn't have a hardtop, so they let me drive a convertible. That car converted me!

I'm still getting a hardtop, but it was that MCSC that converted me.

Congrats!
