Hi Everybody

I'm new to the site and don't own a Mini yet either but plan to soon.
I live in Michigan and plan to move to Arizona this summer when (if) my house sells. I will be looking for a job when I get out to AZ too so if you know of anybody hiring let me know.
My question is should I be looking at different options etc. if I will be living in AZ as opposed to MI ?
I haven't decided when I am going to order my Mini only that I am going to order it when I get a few thing off my plate.
I certainly enjoy reading about your good times and can't wait to join the fun.

from one michigander to another, welcome! not sure what u'd need in AZ, but if u stay up here in the frozen tundra, the cold weahter package would be very good. it might even be nice in AZ (cold desert nights). will u be ordering from Motor City MINI in Detroit or an AZ dealership?

Killjoy,

Welcome to NAM .

Moving to AZ sounds good as it is warmer there.

What line of work are you in and how much experience? I'm not in AZ but knowing what type of job you are looking for will help.

Earl

Lucky you. I love AZ, especially the area around Tucson. Envy, envy. My old roomie taught at AZ and drove his MINI around there last year. I admit every time I was in AZ I rented a big floaty USA car with ballroom strength AC and mind-numbing handling, but it seemed the best way to admire the magnificent desert scenery without the distraction of, sorry, driving. Good luck with the sale of your house and your subsequent move.

I can't tell you how anxious I am to get things in order here so I can order my new Mini. This should be an exciting yeat if my house sells and we can relocate to AZ and get my Mini S. Wish me luck.
