Outside chrome
Can I hear opinions on the exterior chrome option? Is it easy to keep clean - will it continue to look bright and shiny? Are there special cleaning instructions? I'm concerned specifically about the side mirrors.

Aloha and welcome to NAM.
The chrome parts for MINI are fine both interior and exterior. No real special cleaning.
Just do weekly washes and wipe off the chrome areas and you should be OK.
I guess we may have to wait years to see how it all holds up to wear and tear from the elements. All the MINIs are fairly new, in the US since 2002 so not really enough time to see much trouble.
