Second MINI, First post.

Hello everyone,
I've been looking around this site for awhile now and thought I might as well introduce myself. I'm enjoying my second MINI, my first one unfortunatly fell off the road at a moderate rate of speed. We were going along minding our own business when some farmer apparantly left a pile of dirt in the middle of a nice 90 degree corner. Then this big ditch grabs my tires and pulls us in, we are starting to come out when the cut off power pole attacks the undercarriage and tweeks the frame. I was devastated, a perfectly good MINI had lost it's life. After a very long wait I received my second MINI in August of 2003. We have had 33,000 safe and pleasurable miles since. My new MINI is IB/W, Lapis Blue Leather, Premium, Sport, White bonnet stipes. It is now time to start modifying, and with the help of my new friends here I will be getting some good advice.
I look forward to hearing from y'all.

Welcome to NAM.

I had basically the same thing happen to me years ago (like back in 1956). Some idiot's driveway went off a 90+ degree turn and when he graveled his driveway he did the entire corner also. Back end went far left and front was headed for a tree in a orchard, cranked the wheel a bit to the left, missed the tree, next row of trees had a telephone pole between the tree and the road, cranked the wheel a bit more to the left and rear end went right at that point and rolled it . Then the worst part was calling my mother and telling her to come get me. . Lucky for me my uncle came with her and after looking around said he would have lost it too. So I was off the hook.
