Hi guys!
I'm an Irishman living in the Netherlands, and my wife's after buying a 2007 Cooper S. It's a lovely car, but there's a fair few things that need sorting out! Anyway, this seems to be -the- place for knowledge on these cars, so I'm very glad I found it!
My own car is a 2004 Mazda MX-5 Miata. I'm always amazed by how different the two cars are, luckily they're both loads of fun to drive!
Anyway, excited to be part of the forum, hopefully pictures to come soon!

Welcome ! Lots of info here on 2cd gen Minis that you will find useful. You will find the R56 thread very helpful.
I've had NA Miatas that I have supercharged and turbo charged. Fun rockets at the time. Even though the Mini is FWD, I enjoy it more - most likely that I sit tall and the Mini accommodates better.
Send photos of the pair !

Oh, absolutely! I'm still working on getting the coding tools up and running on my laptop, so I can code the sport button in! I think I've got it all set up, but I ran out of time this weekend. There's a fair bit of work to do; the intake valves need cleaning, valve cover/pcv probably could use replacing, and the water pump belt tensioner (or the water pump itself) is squealing/whistling at idle, but for now it's all good.
The Miata is my daily, it's converted to run on LPG so running costs are really low, but I'd love to turbo/supercharge it. Even just putting in a standalone ecu instead of the factory one and LPG piggyback might be a fun project, and I might be able to have it run a little bit smoother.
