I’ve been lurking for years but finally had to join up. Had an old electric blue 2004 R53 nicknamed “Bodger” back in the day. He was precious to me, but I had to move it along of it as it approached end of life. Hopefully he’s still out there racing auto-cross somewhere!!
I’ve been saying for years that it was my favorite car ever, but assumed it was mainly just a memory, and would be disappointing to ever really go back. Then last week I drove past a perkily little mini at a dealership just like my old one and fell right back in love in an instant. The dynamics are, to me, utter perfection.
