IB/IB MCS w black stripes
On my second Mini. 2 years ago I got a '02 IB launch, after a series of unfortunate events, it is in Mini heaven.....I now have a '04 MCS IB/IB w black bonnet stripes. I wish I would have gotten a MCS two years ago, what a difference!

If you post early in the day, instead of at night, you would probably get a lot of responses. Also, if you post a photo of the car you will get lots of hits (but how does one tell there is an image without clicking on?).
Congratulations on getting the IB/IB which I understand is not longer available(?) and much lamented as well as black bonnet stripes which must be quite subtle indeed. Does this put you in mind of some very well coiffed Chicagoland car on NAM?

I've actually been lurking on the forum for a few months, and just started posting.
I got a few cool things on the new car. Invishield on the hood. Noticed on my launch MC that the IB is extremely soft, and chips extremely easy. a number of the dealers in the Toronto use it on their demos, and I like it. Opted for stripes this time, and IB roof. Af first I didn't like it but now I do. Makes the car look more grown up, and we get so many compliments on it. Leather seats, the MC had leatherette, didn't have any complaints about the leatherette, but the lumbar support only avail on the leather is a must have on long journies. H/K sound, and the Mini ipod adapter, as well as sunroof, and MFSW. When we got the launch 2 years ago, I was talked out of cruise control and a sunroof, now have both. I also got the dealer to activate the OBC, its a fun to have. Going to install the areo grille soon, as soon as it warms up a bit, and I get access to a garage....
