Hello!
I just joined the community. I live in Central Florida (way too hot right now) and I started my Mini journey in June, 2023 with a 2008 R52 S. And ever since I’ve become a Mini lover; now I pay attention to every Mini I see on the road.
Since I bought my R52 I’ve made it my daily drive, and since it’s on its way to the 100k miles I’ve been trying to replace all necessary to make the R52 look and feel great.
Currently my R52 it’s not leaking from any place, I have replaced all gaskets (except head gasket), it has a new timing chain kit, supercharger serviced and gaskets replaced, water pump replaced, thermostat, spark plugs and cables, ignition coil, O2 sensors, PCV valve, Bypass Valve, and intercooler boots (one was cracked), power steering lines and reservoir replaced, front and rear brake pads and rotors, emergency brake cables, all four wheel hubs, rear struts, rear end links, rear sway bar bushings, idle pulley, belt, belt tensioner (I want to replace the crank pulley for liquid fill one, but because of my teacher salary I need to wait a bit longer) and the latest was new axles, sway bar bushings, control arm bushings, inner and outer ball joints, front end links, front strut mounts, and a single mass flywheel conversion kit.
So I’ve been getting very knowledgeable about my Mini, and mostly thanks to this community!
Thank you in advance for letting me be part of this amazing community!
