Have owned a '95 Volvo 850 Turbo for 15+ years - kind of inherited it from my gramps but fell in love with it. Despite driving so little car ownership is probably not logical - I finally upgraded to a '22 Mini Clubman S all-4 F54 - Signature Trim. Its mostly all Chili Red roses - but - now I'm old and curmudgeonly and set in my ways. I'm slowly finding all the buttons/settings and getting acclimatized. Just found the heated steering wheel button! I did get Bimmer Code to do some minor coding stuff done off the top (hated clicking 'ok' every time I started the car). I'd love to get a few extra ponies & torque out of it - considering the JB4 piggy-back solution, but open to the Dinnan - recs welcome. Despite using computers since '83 I'm a bit scared by all the electronics sophistication - first step for most of the Volvo work was to disconnect the battery - so this is going to be a learning curve in leaving all the electronics on while working. Aside from a piggy-back, the other thing I think I need to do is a towing hitch that doesn't Bork my hands-free trunk access - I may need to tow a boat about 10 miles on back-roads and a bike-rack would be nice back there. Also feel like I need to wire in a small PC cooling fan into the arm rest to cool the phone charging as mine seems to heat on longer trips. Feel free to point me in the right direction if this is well trod territory and general recs are avail for most of these tweaks.
