Hello to all, last year I bought a 2017 low mileage, immaculate, British Racing Green MCS with JCW tuning kit and PRO exhaust.
This is one impressive car. The faulty exhaust flap/Bluetooth control module led me to this forum.
I purchased my first Mini in 1983. A low mileage 1977 1275GT, blue with gold GT stripes.
What happened to your original? Bet you wish you'd kept it as originals can fetch very good money in the right condition. Suspect you notice some differences with a 40 year margin and a modern platform.

I only kept the original for a year, sold it to a friend from college and bought another motorcycle! I was 17 when I bought it, just as well it didn't have the power of this latest rocket ship or I may not have lived to tell the tale. I'm sure it would have been worth something now. I have a friend in Huntington Beach who has rebuilt a lot of old Cooper 'S' cars. He's finishing up a red one at the moment, absolute show piece, he's certainly a perfectionist.
Thanks. Here are a few of the newer one, will have to dig out the old one in the next day or two...
Btw, I changed the license plate, I had no clue what it meant at first! This is all I could find, probably taken in 1982. It's a 1977 1275GT.
