R52 rollover bar

Was wondering…if I delete the rear seats, am I able to remove the rollover bar? I’ve seen the framework, and seems to be plenty of structure without it. I’ve not felt any flex on turning either.
or can I just shorten the height and use it as a brace for the rear? The rear is pretty much useless except for golf clubs or tools anyway…

You sure you want to remove a massive safety feature of the car? I would leave it in place.

Nope the R52 has that roll bar fixed for a reason. I would not remove it. In some tracks i have autocrossed with my R52 they require it or some form of pop up or brace cage.

+1 to both. It ain't there for pretty, it's there to keep your head from performing its function.
