1st Mini - Cosmic R60S All4
Hey guys, I'm Gander.
I'm a 26 year old Overhead Door tech with an expensive habit of collecting cars and modifying them.
This is my second newest acquisition, a low-mileage Cosmic Blue 2014 Mini Countryman S All4 6 Speed.
I purchased her last September as a birthday present to myself.
She is currently about 99% stock, but big plans. (Pending the financial situation of course.)
Current modifications include:
-DDM Works intake. (I'm not in love with this part so I will be designing my own intake at some point.)
-Backbox muffler deleted with a single 4 inch tip sourced from Amazon. (I had it laying around.)
-Enkei J10 Wheels (Factory fitment specs)
-Federal 595SS Tires (These are some of my favorite street tires for the Summer weather here in Rhode Island.)
-Whole bunch of seat time.
Planned modifications:
-Coilovers (I have a set of Godspeeds in my garage along with new control arms and a new subframe.)
-Thicker sway bars. (Still deciding how stiff I want to go on the street.)
-Intercooler piping (Maybe in red to dress up the engine bay a bit?)
-Intercooler, higher-quality radiator, turbo blanket, ceramic coated/wrapped exhaust components. (Preventing heat soak is my main goal, without considering WMI until engine is built)
-Built block (Sleeved & forged. Looking for 400ish at the wheels reliably.)
-LSD solution for the diffs (Yes, hilarious, I know.)
-Wider arches for a more aggressive suspension setup (No, not MON arches.)
-Tuning of course.
I'm sure I will develop a more comprehensive list in time but that is the thick of it.
