Hi all, first intro posting. Daughter has a 2003 JCW we purchased in summer of 2014. What a blast to drive. What a pain to work on. Lol. About 130k on it now and seeing most of the common issues I see here. Have managed to handle most of the maintenance myself with the help of this amazing forum and community. Thought it was time to join so I could also provide some support to other new to them first gen owners.

First generation MINIs are great cars. They probably wouldn’t be as much fun to drive if they were big enough to have space to make repairs easy.
