Frustrated but Hopeful R56 Owner

Hello. I have a 2012 NA R56. Really fun car and I've been happy with it but It recently started doing weird things and spraying oil like crazy (thread created in R56 forum).
I'm in the Southeast US. I'm a cheap bastard and I'm interested in learning more about cars, so as of today I've downgraded (or upgraded) my Mini to a secondary project car while I figure out what's going on with the oil leak situation, and hopefully I will be able to tool around and resolve the issues without screwing anything up.

I look forward to learning more and engaging with the community here. Cheers.

Hello,

Check around in the DIY sections, DIY on these cars is not too hard. And saves money. Good luck.

I agree with ECS. And get yourself a good scan tool or app to start!
