New R53 05 MCS owner

Found a mini locally for 1500 with a clutch issue. There are many other little issues that need attention, and I have posted a problems post in the stock issues forum.

The car is a 8/10 interior and 8/10 exterior. Some small scratches and a small dent in the rear which I should be able to fix relatively easy.

The vehicle has 65k miles and was taken care of well before the last few owners based on the carfax. It was involved in a side collision in 2012 and was issued a "rebuilt" title. The vehicle was "totaled" and then repaired at a shop. Side collision with side airbag deployed from what I can read.

The vehicle was repaired very well. Im not even sure what side the collision occurred on as I cannot find overspray, misaligned panels, or paint that doesnt match. I suspect the right side-but not way to tell!

Either way, Im happy with the purchase. I expect to spend 1k to get the car where I want it- this includes a new clutch kit and several other items that need attention. Photo below if the post will allow!

Congrats as that sounds like a good deal.

Make sure you do the powerflex control arm bushings with the clutch job as you will have the subframe out. That is what we do in our shop. Also if you are into performance you should also consider doing an LSD as half the labor is taking out the trans.
