Hi everyone. I’m new to the Mini world, but long time car guy. Typically classic American Muscle guy as I have a 1966 Chevelle in my garage.

I just bought a 2009 Mini S with 134k miles on it. It had some known engine issues, so I’m looking at rebuilding it now. I got the car pretty cheap, so I’m hopping to keep my repair costs under $2k, so I can either keep as fun commuter or potentially sell it for a little profit.

all in all, I’m pretty impressed with the car and the overall community so far.
