Daily driver here of course... I couldn't drive anything else. On the rare occasion I get in my wife's Jeep I am immediately depressed.

an 05' MCS, barely 4 weeks old with 3,500 miles on it and all the mods you see below, many made right at 1300 miles... I couldn't waste a second!

Not only that, but

you can put a baby in there with both parents! My wife an I have just had a baby, and we use the Mini for trips. We figure we can do a long weekend with the baby, before we run out of room.

I use it as a daily driver as well. Over 60 miles round trip for work. Love it, but watch for clueless people on cell phones......

Got 6500 miles on the MINI since August. I commute daily, about 22 miles each way and it's all back roads and twisties. What a blast!!!!
The wife and I are headed to the Smokie Mountains in the morning for a couple of days. We'll be running the Tail of the Dragon on the way up. QueenB sent me a great rallye run that I'll be doing Wednesday. Thanks QueenB!!!!

You'll enjoy the car whichever one you get!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I was looking for a car, a couple of years ago, I had certain criteria: had to seat 4 in a crunch (3-kids), had to get reasonable gas mileage (I hover around 32MPG) and it had to be fun to drive. The only car that met my list was a MINI. My commute is approximately 100 miles a day. I travel 2 lane highways, 4 lane freeways and twisty 2 lane backroads. The MINI makes it fun to drive to work in the morning and takes all my cares away on the drive home.
I've also driven to Los Angeles (twice), Las Vegas and Tahoe (four times) and the car is great as a vacation car as well.
After over 71,000 miles this car still puts a smile on my face.

Daily driver for me. 9.5 miles to office (9 out of 14 days) and 13,500
since March 2003. My alternate workplace is only 0.45 miles away
(7+ out of 14 days), so I walk unless it's dark or raining hard. I can't
see starting the car for a half mile run then shutting it off again.
If it's cold and the windows need scraping, it's actually less of a bother
to walk in than to scrape, drive, park, and walk in from the parking lot.

Mine's a daily driver. I've had it for only 2 weeks and there has been snow on the ground that whole time but I've still managed to rack up over 2000 miles! So far so good...

My daily commute to work is only 1.4 miles...to me, it's not enough time in the MINI to go to work...I find myself taking back roads and going the long way to add another mile or so to the route, just to enjoy it more....the weekends are my time to get out on back roads and drive for miles and miles to really feed my addiction

Daily Driver all the way since day 1 - My commute is about 40 miles each way, a mix of highway and back roads. I average about 22K miles per year, and I'm just coming up on 48K.

I don't like commuting - I would prefer a shorter commute - but since I have to do it, it might as well be in a car that's fun to drive, right?

It is also great because the traffic here in the fast lane averages between 85 to 100 MPH. It is definitely fun in this car.

Despite the monster pot holes and crazy driving, this car is holding up very well. I would recommend you just drive and enjoy your car.

A satisfied driver.
Welcome to NAM.

85 to 100 MPH That's what it should be here after they clear the roads of some of the people that don't know how to drive
