Hi there, I am a new 2003 MCS owner. I bought it about a month ago and finally I decided to not lurk and acutally post.

My MCS is Pure Silver with same colored roof.
I sent my check to join the DCMINIMetros but haven't heard anything yet.

I have been covetting lots of accessories but I've only bought the glove box organizer, the center console thingy and the arm rest from the 2nd group buy is on the way.

I would love to get Shelby stripes on the bonnet but not really sure where to get them "installed".

My neighbor has a blue MCS, with stripes. Do you think it would be weird to knock on his door and ask him a little about his car? Our garage is in the back so I don't think he realizes that we have a MINI as well.

By the way, my MINI's name is Emma.

 

Welcome to NAM, MINIMay! The DC Metro MINIs is a great group, and you'll have a lot of fun with them. I live in SoCal, but travel cross-country in my MINI every spring. I've met quite a few of the DCMM folks, and consider many of them my friends.

I'd definitely recommend going over to the neighbor's and introducing yourself. Great ice-breaker to have the MINI in common.
