Hello folks, just posting as per the instructions from above (the admin). ;-)

I'm a new owner of a used 2016 Mini Countryman S ALL4 Park Lane, Manual 6-Spd, I just picked it up for my son.

Was an owner of a first gen Mini Cooper S that was Yellow/Black with black bonnet stripes. Loved that car. Hence my title of being a "semi-noob". For now, this is the new Mini added to the family for my son who starts to drive in a few months.

I'm joining the forum, honestly to get back into the Mini world and learn what I can again. I'll be asking quite a few questions for now so all the help will be appreciated! I wrench on all my own toys so this will not be any different. Whatever I can post for the community I will if it's not already up here. Moving forward, I will be trying to get my hands on a Mini Cooper JCW for me as a daily. That will be sooner than later, depending on what my CFO (the wife) allows and what comes across the block in the coming weeks or months.
