Hey Guys and Gals,
Just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself. I stumbled upon this site while searching for answers to why my Mini Cooper S stumbles. (pun intended, feel free to groan).
My real name is Tom, hiding behind the username of Torquehead. Gearhead was taken, what can I say? I lurked for a short while and then jumped in to posting about the notorious High Pressure Fuel Pump issues that include stumbling, hard starting, misfires/backfires etc. Anyway I am glad I found this site as I have learned so much about Minis.
I am currently semi-retired with a background in machining and education. For fun I restore old cars and motorcycles.

I will try to post some pictures of our pepper white Mayfair Edition Cooper S hatchback. These were taken on various Mini runs organized by a local Mini enthusiast.
