Hello all,
I decided that I needed a Mini in my life since it's such a great balance between fun, practical, efficient, generally inexpensive, etc. so my wife and I went to our local Mini dealer yesterday and picked up an International Orange JCW for what I think is a pretty good deal.
The car reminds me a lot of some Miatas I have owned; more smiles per mile than should be legal and you don't have to go blisteringly fast to enjoy the car.
There will definitely be some R comp tires put on it to see how track duty suits the car in the near future.
Anyway, glad to be part of the Mini crowd and look forward to the driving experience!
