Looks like we made a great buying call and are going to meet a lot of fun people.

I got my Mini at the end of Noveber, and I LOVE it. I am going on my first club run with REME to Point Reyes tomorrow, and I can't wait! I probably wont even be able to sleep tonight cause I am so excited - just like a little kid! So, Hi... I am here and I have posted, will that message go away now?

I've had my 05 CR/W MCS for about a year now. I really enjoy driving the car and like how other mini owners wave. The 1st mini I met in mine I saw it coming and had my hand on top of the wheel to throw it up. The other mini was a lady waving frantically all behind the windscreen. It put a big smile on my face that lasted for miles!

I've had my MCS for nine months now gradually upgrading it as I went.

Decided it was time to join in on the flame-wars that appears to form so much of the discussion on NAM...

Hi everybody. I just ordered my MC from Mini of Sterling in Virginia on Monday and I am very excited. Now I have to wait a couple of months for my car to be built and delivered which will be tough. I have been enjoying seeing the active community here and other places like the MINI2.com forums.

I am selling my 2001 Mercedes C240 and switching to MINI! Mine will be space blue with a silver roof.

 

New to the board, it's actually my wife that owns the Mini, 2005 LY with black top. We just got back from our dealer (Columbus OH) for the 1 year 10,000 mile service. She loves the car. I kind of like it to although my car is a 2002 red Tbird. We have been reading for over a year but finally joined.

Just joining in! Had my '06 AB MCS for 1650 miles now. Love it & will be forum searching for upgrade info!

 

I ordered my Hot Orange MCSC in late December in SE PA. It should be in by March. Was hoping for February before the increase but its not looking like it right now. Called ASK MINI yesterday and she said it was scheduled for production but for some reason they didn't put a date on it yet.
Can't wait.

 

Another new guy here. Have a 03 MCS IB. Not new, but I like it. Joined Bluegrass Mini a few weeks ago. Great group. Going to MOTD in May, hope to meet everybody.

Scared to wash mini based on what I've read.
Actually liking it dirty, which is preferable to scratched.

First time in! Ordered Minion, my MCSC on Jan 19. Was told it would be in production the week of Feb 5th! Just the first of a long stream of dates and times to drive me crazy with anticipation :-). At least my MA told me I could come back and "test" drive whenever I want. It may ease the anxiety a bit.

Do you have to post here first in order to post in the other threads? I have posted a couple of replies and everything appears to be working right, but they aren't showing up right away. Is there a problem??

 

I think we have to go through a grace period where the moderators have to check and approve all our posts prior to them actually being posted on the threads. I am in the same boat.

 

Just got news of this Website. I've had my Mini for about a year and a half...an '04 MC40. I've only got about 11,000 miles on it, but love it (when I can get it away from my kids!). Looking forward to some rides with some of the folks in the central valley of Cali. C-ya! JiminiJ

Wanted to post you up a photo of my mini cooper, I'm a new member here so I thought I would say hi.

The mini is called "cheeky", complete service history, every single recept from new, the car was originally bought for my younger sister, but she couldn't get insured on the car so I had it.
