Hello everyone from the tropical sauna that is Malaysia. Just picked up my F60 Cooper SE last week (only 44km done as I’ve been travelling). Excited to have it and have already had the LED spotlights installed (dealer needs to swap one of the lights out this week as it was DOA). Transferred my coat-hanger and bag hook with their bases from my E90.

Looking to make a few cosmetic changes plus getting the aftermarket Heads Up Screen installed. Dealer told me the existing Heads Up Screen device is only for the non-hybrid vehicles as the hybrid lacks a rev counter. Pity that we don’t have any option choices beyond a limited set of colours for our vehicles. HUD and the larger screen are not available for the hybrid in my country.

That said, the government’s tax incentives means the hybrid is around US$17-18k cheaper than the JCW, and close in price to the 2wd Cooper S. Which made the decision for me.

Pic is from before the spots were installed, while it was at the dealer. Original roof and side mirrors were white (only available option in Malaysia) so I had them painted black. Plan to Black out some of the chrome too.
