Welcome to NAM. A Gen1 Vert S is a nice car, have any pictures? How many miles on it?
There are 24 vendors here although some are more Turbo oriented than Supercharged. You can check them all out if you hit the link at the bottom of my thread.
Before the Mod route, have you verified all your maintenance is up to snuff? Crank sensor o-ring, power steering hoses, water pump, belt, belt tensioner, crank pulley, t-stat, motor mounts, fluid etc?

Welcome to the forum and MINI ownership.
The only supplier I bought from was OutMotoring to this point. I bought a small part that I was shocked to find available anywhere let alone for around $10.00 with shipping. I was told that to get it from MINI it would have been $400.00 for a series of parts I didn't need.

There are a number good vendors to choose from. It can be overwhelming for sure. I'm new just like you, only had our R52S for 3 weeks.
I'm going CAI from Madness, Milltek exhaust, and under/upper strut braces and rear sway bar from Madness to get it ready for the corners. Then I'll do a 17% pulley. Going to get the pulley kit and exhaust from Way Motor Works. Already bought some LEDs and stubby antenna from ECS Tuning.
Once it pulls and sounds good, I'll probably lower it and go with some light aftermarket wheels.

Hi and welcome to the NAM family, Familyman333!
Before you allow the modding bug to get you, you need to do the basics.
Synthetic oil change with filter
Dran trans and put in approximately 1.7 quarts of MTL synthetic in the transmission. (there are drain and fill on it)
Check brakes
check wipers
check for codes
make sure the tires are serviceable
change cabin filter
After you get regular maintenance done... drive it to enjoy what you have and give you an idea bout your ride, when you start modding!
Most of all, enjoy your Mini for the legal street go cart it is!
