Finally got my Mini, 2005 S Convertible w/ 62K miles. Glad you all are here because I've already had several questions.

I had a question about the tensioner because my serpentine belt seems to be getting shredded I just replaced. I think I need to replace it. Ordered one today. I had asked the question in the repairs area but no one answered me. I kinda figured it out from reading all the other Q&A's on serpentine belts.

Welcome.

Watch your belt, if it starts to shred again (relatively shortly after putting it on) you might have a pulley bearing going out or possibly pulleys out of alignment.

Good looking R52.

Motor On!

Hi and welcome to NAM!
Congrats on your buy!
You may need a new vibration dampener, as they get old, the rubber bond dies and the dampener starts hitting the block. It is a common failer, as they age!

I’m actually hoping to sell the Chrome wheels. Thanks though!
