What a car!
What a car!
Hi guys, I'm new to the world of minis and am very excited to learn as much as I can about them.
I recently purchased a 2010 MCS in Laser Blue. As an enthusiast, there was so much that I had to weigh while shopping for a new car. Weight, ground clearance, AWD, practicality, luxury, handling, road noise, power/weight ratio, short vs long gears and so on.
Naturally I did what any good enthusiast would do and threw all of the practical things out of the window and said, I want a sportscar that can handle the canyon roads of Colorado with ease!
So out went all of my cross-shopped cars (c6 allroad, mk6 gti, volvo c30t5 s60r and v70r, saab 9-3 turbo x, e90 335, wrx) and I couldn't be happier!

Hi and welcome to the NAM family. We are glad you chose the "Canyon Carver" Mini S!
I sure you will be thrilled with it's performance. Now: Tires, for summer you will need a nice sticky set! Suspension should be check all over, as you can not have worn parts under you!
Your wheels look great! Do you know how much they weigh? The lighter the better.
These Minis are impressive! Have fun and keep us posted on your exploits!
Congrats on your new to you MCS!

Welcome.
Great looking car... (Red is the fastest color) but that blue really pops.
I'm actually a bit jealous about the Colorado roads, it has been a few years since I have been out there tearing up the secondary roads through the hills, what a blast.
Motor On!

As for the wheels, I found out that they are the r98 style that weighs 22.3 lbs, so they're somewhere in the middle of the pack as far as sock wheels go
