Hi,
I'm new to this blog, in fact I am totally new to the works of Minis. Well, actually not entirely. Before I introduce my recently acquired MC let me first share that when I was about 2 years old one of my uncles lived with us for a couple of years.
He introduced me to the Mini.
A few weeks ago a green 04 R50 happen to catch my eye on Craigslist. It turned out the seller was located a 10 minutes walk from my house and in fact I walked passed this car many times on my way to the train station.
Now it's mine and I'm loving it. It has a list of issues but it rides well. I will be taking my time to get it in good condition.

It does have some damage on the right rear side, which I will post in another thread.
P.s. I hope it's not bad practice to cross post, but I didn't realize that there is a new member section until after I posted it in the Hatch Talk (2002 - 2006)
