Hi all,
Meet my second mini! My first one was a 1975 Clubman in the most awful brown British Leyland could find. This is a step up in the world...
I like doing my own maintenance and hope to share part of that on this forum.
Cheers, Peter

Welcome! Looking classy with the silver/black scheme and the tasteful stripes. There is a huge amount of information for your Gen2 in the forum, search and you will find. If you don't, just ask! Everything from maintenance to mods, suspension to engines. Looks like you have the 2007-2010 vintage, so be sure to check out the maintenance information on the N14 engine.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the heads up on the N14 but I am afraid I already hit that jackpot... I needed a complete top end rebuild at 55.000 miles after the timing failed. BMW USA paid for a bit of it but because of the cars age (2009) I had to bear most of the cost.

Mini accessory

Broken rockers

Bent valves

Money pit

Yikes. Hopefully, you can get it back together. Looks like maybe a timing chain snapped and the pistons touched the valves..etc
