Not new to MINI and NAM, but finally registered
Hi all,
My name is Rianne, I am from The Netherlands.
I am absolutely not new to MINI, and used NAM before as a source of information. But usually my "own" newminiclub.nl was enough for info about modding etc. Unfortunately, with the expand of FB, our Dutch forum is getting less and less updated.
Now that I have bought my new 'Justa' Cooper F56, I need to learn everything about this car from the start. The best information for modding is found at NAM, so I decided to finally register!
I started my MINI career in 2008 with a 2001 R50 Cooper in Pure Silver. And found the great community surrounding the MINI brand. Since then, most of my best friends originated from the community.

After that came my 2nd MINI: a 2005 R50 Cooper LCI in Astro Black

After a small intermezzo, I was back in 2012 with a 2007 R55 Clubman Cooper D in Pepper White

And my favorite so far: 2011 R57 Cabbie Cooper SD in Eclipse Grey (tuned to 194pk and 407 Nm).

2 Weeks ago I brought my beloved Cabbie to the dealer to get a 2014 F56 Cooper in Iced Chocolate.
From the introduction on I really loved the 1.5 3-cyl turbo engine of the Justa. And so far, although it has a lot less power and torque than my SD+, I am really enjoying it.
The modding already started. First I switched the Cooper grill for a S grill (removed the S-logo). Next wednesday a set of KW V1 coils is being installed, as well as a set of Speedline Corse SL2 Marmora Anthracite polished in 18x8 ET45. Can't wait!!

As I didn't do any modding on my Cabbie for over a year (it was more or less done..), I am now totally back to modding.
Further plans:
- Installing the Recaro seats from my cabbie in the F56 (I've got some custom strips to place the rails on and I need to drill 4 holes in my MINI to make it fit
)
- Wrapping the grill surround and bar
- Colour coding the tail- and headlight rings
- Beltline black-out
- S fuel cap retrofit
- S exhaust + S rearbumper or Muffler delete and keeping the Cooper exhaust

Welcome to NAM. All nice looking cars. The cabbie, that we would call a "vert" had 407 nm of torque, that 300 of our foot pounds??
Please post any Mod info you have in the Gen3 Section.
And that black R50 was one great looking car.

Wow nice collection and nice also to see some models that don't get modded, do get modded.
